All media attending ICASA 2011 will need to be accredited. They will receive their accreditation passes upon arrival in Addis Ababa at the registration desk located at the conference venue.However, application to acquire accreditation must be processed in advance.
Online media accreditation and registration opened on 10th March 2011 using the online registration system. To register as a media representative, you must request accreditation by submitting all the required documents such as letter of assignment, press ID... All Media representatives are exempted from registration fees. However, you and/or your organization are responsible for all costs related to travel and accommodation.
All credentials submitted will be verified by the ICASA 2011 Secretariat and if necessary, additional credentials may be requested.
Journalists are encouraged to register early, and to submit all required documentation as soon as possible, given the need to close media registration early, due to the vetting process.
