Information on Visa Requirement

Holders of diplomatic, service, AU, UN and ADB passports and Kenyan and Djiboutian citizens will not require visas to enter Ethiopia.
Delegates coming from countries where there are Ethiopian Embassies need to have a visa before they depart their country.
Delegates coming from countries where there no Ethiopian Embassies can get visas on arrival at Bole International Airport but they need to have an official invitation letter and a passport valid for six months with two blank spaces.
Visas will be granted against the payment of either USD 20 or 17 Euros. No other currencies will be accepted.

Health Requirements: Prior to entry, visitors should be in possession of a valid health certificate for yellow fever. Vaccination against cholera is also required for any person who has visited or transited a cholera-infected area within six days prior to arrival in Ethiopia.
