The 16th International Conference on AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections in Africa (ICASA 2011) will be held in Addis Ababa from 4-8 December 2011, under the theme “OWN, SCALE-UP & SUSTAIN”. It is expected to bring together more that 10,000 delegates across the globe.
The ICASA 2011 is unique for the reason that it marks:
- 30th year after AIDS was first discovered as a threat to human being
- 10th year since the United Nations General Assembly Political Declaration on AIDS; and
